Capture what you need

Use Screenshot for a Full Display, Selected Region, Window, or supported Scrolling Capture. The Capture Hub also lets you open an image or movie you already have.

Recent Captures keeps up to 10 flattened PNG screenshots easy to find.
Open, copy, save, reveal, or delete recent items from the Hub.
Opening an existing file does not copy it into Recent Captures.

Edit without changing the source

Kovadh keeps image and video changes non-destructive, so you can return to a project and change a crop, annotation, adjustment, trim, or caption later.

Image tools include crop, resize, rotate, flip, colour adjustments, text, arrows, shapes, blur, and redaction.
Video projects can include trimming, splitting, joining, framing, audio choices, camera layout, and captions.
Use Secure Redaction for an export in which sensitive covered content is removed.

Record with Kovadh Pro

Choose a full display, selected region, or single window. Before recording begins, Kovadh checks the selected target and required permissions.

See microphone, system audio, and camera state while recording.
Use recording controls to stop and, where available, pause.
Completed recording projects are stored locally by default in ~/Movies/Kovadh/Recordings.

Local by default

Kovadh does not automatically upload capture content. Search and optional OCR or caption indexes remain local to your Mac.

Private Mode

Use Private Mode when a capture should not create history, thumbnails, OCR indexing, or Recent Captures bookkeeping.

Explicit transfer

Content is transferred only after you choose an export, share destination, or integration. Review the selected output before continuing.
